ROBIN HOOD FOUNDATION GALA 2011

Robin Hood Foundation

2011 marks the 25th year of the Robin Hood Foundation's mission to fight poverty in New York City. Every year Robin Hood hosts its annual benefit in May and transforms the Javitz center into its owned thematically designed space. The 2010 gala theme was superheroes and for the third year in a row, OAKES was brought on to conceive the visual space that included a 30,000 square foot cocktail hour and 120,000 square foot dining room. Hosted by NBC Nightly News' Brian Williams, the show included appearances by Seth Meyers, Kid Rock, Black Eyed Peas, Tom Brokaw, and a show ending concert by Lady GaGa.
