IMPORTANT THINGS WITH DEMETRI MARTIN

Stand-up comedian, actor, and Emmy-losing writer Demetri Martin brings his unique brand of observational and surreal humour to "Important Things" a 30-minute comedy series that mixes stand-up, sketches, animation, studio bits, and music. Each very important episode explores one important subject like "Power", or "Safety" or… "Chairs"!

Working with comedian Demetri Martin was the perfect fit for us. Demetri uses all kinds of visual mixed media in his comedy and helping him figure out how to execute his ideas was simply a ton of fun. We shot the first season of IMPORTANT THINGS WITH DEMETRI MARTIN here in New York while the second season brought us out to LA. Lots of whimsical animation, total creative freedom, and an opportunity to not take everything so seriously. We were sad that there would not be a season 3, but nonetheless we had great time working with Demetri and his comedy writing team and we for sure were made to feel like an Important Thing.
