Chad Troutwine's documentary film adaptation of the phenomenally bestselling book about incentives-based thinking by Steven Levitt and Stephen Dubner. FREAKONOMICS examines human behavior through consistently provocative and often hilarious case studies. OAKES was asked by acclaimed documentary filmmaker Eugene Jarecki (Capturing the Friedmans) to collaborate and realize his chapter "It's Not Always A Wonderful Life". Jarecki's vision was to create a world where crime, skyscrapers, "It's A Wonderful Life", communism and abortion collide. The result: a wild and surreal 2D and 3D mashup in a snow globe.
